IIT operates a dedicated service division which focuses on the inspections, maintenance, and refurbishments/ replacement of tanks if necessary. Storage tanks require occasional inspection to determine if any maintenance is required. To maximise the lifespan of your tank and prevent operational issues, inspections are essential to determine the tanks condition both internally and externally. For an internal inspection of the tank, our state of the art remotely operated robotic submarine (ROV) is used to determine the condition of the inside of the tank’s walls. The ROV provides us with high resolution inspection footage which is then incorporated into a video alongside a detailed written and photographic report. Recommendations for any repairs are reported along with any compliance issues with current legislation.
