Epoxy Powder Coated Tanks

  • These tanks are cylindrical and vertical in shape, of bolted construction, using rolled steel sheets with effective size of 2.5m x 1.25m to BS EN 1449.

  • The plates are prepared using a two coat, two fire process, with one coat being epoxy powder and the top coat being a flexible Polyester coat, making the panel highly resilient to surface damage.

  • Each plate has coating thickness of 200 microns. In addition to this, all peripheral plate surfaces, such as plate edges and bolt holes, have the same amount of coating guaranteed. The coating is resistant to ph levels ranging from 0.3 to 13ph up to 90 degrees centigrade.

  • The plates are tested using a 100 volt test to both sides.The tanks are erected using a one part polyurethane sealant with plastic galvanised bolts and washer to BS 4190.

  • The standard colours are 12 B 29 Green BS 4900 and 20 C 40 Blue BS 4900. Any other colour within the BS range can be achieved to the clients request.
